Bungalow Home is a Gold Coast–based interior design studio preparing to expand into ecommerce with a curated collection of designer-selected pieces. Their challenge was to launch a Shopify store that would champion their premium interior design and styling services first, while laying the groundwork for a seamless transition into product sales.
We approached the project in two phases: a pre-ecommerce version focused on services, and a future version where ecommerce and services work hand in hand. Designing within Shopify’s product-first framework meant we needed to rethink how a service-based business could be positioned on the platform. Every page was built with the future in mind — ensuring product feeds will eventually flow naturally alongside services, and portfolio pages can evolve into shoppable “get the look” experiences.
The result is a sophisticated, service-led storefront that positions Bungalow Home as a premium design studio today, while future-proofing the brand for its ecommerce ambitions. When phase two launches, the store will effortlessly bridge services and products, transforming inspiration into action and extending the studio’s vision directly into their customers’ homes.
