Hi I’m Tash
Welcome to NP Studio.

My love and appreciation for great branding started in my retail buying years in the surf and lifestyle industry. 

Being exposed to so many brands — of all sizes, founded by people from many different walks of life — some managed by a small nimble team, others by larger multi-brand management companies, you quickly learn to recognise and differentiate the brand foundations that architect a legacy brand and the ones that take a more myopic approach to building a fast fashion brand. 

Legacy brands are those built with strong bones that will stand the test of time — something you see more commonly in founder-led brands.. 

Those whose purpose is not solely to make products, but rather — they make products to serve a larger purpose. 

Founder brands have a knack for resonating with the customer through their origin story and making sure the customer is aware that — at it’s core — the brand exists to serve them and they are inspiration for all that is produced.
That’s what makes them so unique. 

Likewise, my studio at its core exists to serve these inimitable founder brands.

But, as you  know, it’s loud and crowded out there.. 
Staying top of mind and retaining great customers requires you to move fast, iterate often and keep telling everybody what your USP is and why they should care.

Your efforts to build brand-awareness and deploy great marketing campaigns to get your ideal customers into your ecosystem needs to be worthwhile.
Investing time and money to funnel traffic into an underwhelming, or worse, an underperforming website is just as tragic as it is unnecessary. 

It's important that your online store is able to keep up with the pace of your growing brand while maintaining high performance — It’s supposed to work just as tirelessly and sell just as efficiently as you and your human team.

This is a huge focal point when I work with clients to build their online store.

I like to approach E-commerce store strategy and design in a similar way to how I used to approach experiential retail in our physical store.
That involves making sure the entire experience is carefully considered — from the store welcoming, to the customer service, to the organisation of your collections, to product education and merchandising that both tells a story and sells a story (think cross-selling and increased AOV), to product education, to the gentle upsell at checkout and the cheeky reminder there’s more to love as you say thank you and see you next time.

URL is not all that different to IRL, you still need to make careful decisions to ensure brand cohesiveness, an inspiring display of your products and a smooth, intuitive shopping experience. 

It’s your job, within your own team, to continue to put a long-term focus on brand building, product development and generating sustainable revenue streams —putting emphasis on cultivating long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.

It’s my job to make sure the online store — arguably the largest, and often the only landing point where leads ideally turn to conversions — is not only a reflection of your brand building efforts across other touch points, but is the most important point. It needs to carry the momentum all the way through, from campaign click, to landing page to checkout.

I build these online worlds on Shopify, because it is an extremely robust platform that can carry you through every stage of your brand journey, while still being intuitive and user friendly enough for your team to handle.
