Despite strong brand presence and high traffic, Happy Ways existing custom Shopify store was underperforming and difficult to manage. Product discovery was not prioritised and the overall experience no longer reflected the quality of the brand. Their goal was a cleaner, more sophisticated storefront that integrated their many tech tools more seamlessly while empowering their team to take back control in-house.
A comprehensive audit allowed us to map out wins, losses, and opportunities. Using customer heat-mapping and a full ecosystem review, I delivered a clear snapshot of what to keep, what to refine, and what to let go — spanning from low-resource quick wins to larger transformations. This process gave the team a confident roadmap with clear priorities. From there, I worked closely with the HW team to re-map their customer journey, streamline content layout, and design a flexible new custom theme aligned with both UX and SEO best practices.
The outcome was a completely refreshed storefront: clean, fast, and manageable. Educational content now takes centre stage alongside hero products and limited editions, integrations run seamlessly, and customers enjoy a smoother, more intuitive shopping experience. The new store not only champions Happy Way’s products but also reflects the strength and sophistication of the brand itself.
